I wish you were beer ..... uh, I mean I wish you were here.

Its been a hectic past couple of weeks traveling here, there and everywhere. Being shown around, showing friends around and discovering new places. Seeing family, catching up with old friends and making new ones. No matter where I've gone though, there's always been a beer that needs drinking.

I don't have much time to put in an in-depth report of events, as I'll be on my way again soon and can only do so much with the time I have. Hopefully the pictures say the 1000 words I don't have time to write, this is just a show of highlights.

If you'd like me to expand on anything later, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I can't play the trumpet either

The incredible bird man, he looked worried when his birds flew away and didn't come back.

Absolutely nothing tastes like wild raspberries.

Cologne Cathedral, only took 800 years to build.

30cm Diameter Schnitzel, it's just too much.

He only finished half of his burger

What happens when your friends find out you can take beers onto the train?

Good question

If you can read this, you know where we were.

This picture pretty much sums up the whole time me, Iain and Seb were together.

Giant beer chess makes me happy

You drink beer in Litre measurements here, not by number of glasses.

The point of over-indulgence. A hearty German platter and no smiles.

The Rhein river near Assmanshausen

The Niederwald monument, also near Assmanshausen.

This where to find the parties next time you're in Ruedesheim

The Reichstag

Apparently you can make a handsome profit from selling old Communist paraphenalia.

Nina, Iain and the largest remaining section of the Berlin wall.

I'd like to say thanks to all the people that looked after us, the locals that put up with us and to anyone along the way that served us beer that was cold.
